Internet Explorer has been Patched!!
Safe to use I.E Again....
Sorry, I'm late to the party wrote this Friday and forgot to post, but anyway....
Microsoft has released patches to fix the latest critical security vulnerability in I.E. The patches went live Thursday morning (May 1, 2014) and are available through Windows Update. If you have automatic updates turned on you should have received them. If not, just go to Windows Update and hit Check for Updates. For you Windows 7 and below users, just hit your start menu and hit all programs and look toward the top for Windows Update. Windows 8 users it is probably easiest just to use the search feature or go through Control Panel.
Oh, but that is not all, Microsoft has also offered this update to Windows XP. That's right, its not totally dead yet, but I am pretty sure this will be the last update you see since this was such a major threat. So, I would still recommend moving on from Windows XP.
Just please still be cautious while on the internet, no matter what browser you use. I will talk about this a little more on our next Show Smoke and Mirrors and post that Tech Tip Segment Here.
Until then be safe on the Internet and God Bless.
